Smartphones work more or less like modern day computers, which means that they are susceptible to the same issues, like viruses or temp files taking up a large portion of their storage space. iLike can help you locate and remove temporary data on any iOS device. As a result, your device will work faster and it will feel like it's brand new. Additionally, the application allows you to manage music, videos, pictures and other files on your device and transfer them to and from your computer.

iLike is free to try with some limitations. It is available for Windows and Mac OS X platforms and it can be installed quickly, without any effort. The application works with all iPhone, iPad or iPod models. It doesn't ask for too many resources or additional tools, so you can run it right away, even on older machines.

When launched, the application will start scanning your iOS device automatically, if it is connected to your computer, via USB cable. It may take a few minutes to complete the scanning process, but you can explore your device's contents in the meantime. Music, videos, pictures and apps are displayed on separate pages, which you can access via navigation tabs, located on the left side of the user interface. You can also access scan results for temp files, caches, cookies and synchronization failures in the same way, when the scanning process is complete.

Files can be transferred between an iOS device and a computer by selecting them and clicking the appropriate options. The best part is that you don't have to wait until a synchronization process is complete, each time you perform an action. Besides the aforementioned file types, the application gives you access to your device's system files as well.

Found junk files can be deleted selectively, but you can also target entire folders. Alternatively, you may click an option on the interface's home screen to fix all issues in a single run. Safety is another one of iLike's features. It can back up photos and videos, contacts, messages, notes, calendar entries and other files from your device, to a folder of your choice. Backed up files are displayed on separate tabs and you can restore them without any effort.
